SAGEM: sale of treasury shares |
20 June 2000 - On 20 June 2000, SAGEM sold 250,000 ordinary shares to a group of French and foreign investors.
This transaction was for more than FRF 2.1 billion and will enable Groupe SAGEM to finance its strong internal development, particularly in the objective of achieving turnover of over FRF 30 billion, as of this year after FRF 22.4 in 1999.
On completion of this sale, the number of SAGEM treasury shares - following restructuring in 1996 as part of the policy to simplify Group structures will be reduced to 429,800 ordinary shares and 226,600 preference dividend share without voting rights.
This transaction was accomplished by CDC Marchés, as lead manager and book-runner, with Deutsche Bank as co-lead manager.
